Aston Villa's challenge for a Champions League spot has shown no sign of faltering and Martin O'Neill's side hosts Stoke for whom points are just as vital in the battle against relegation straight back to the Championship. Welsh international striker Craig Bellamy returns to his old club West Ham with Manchester City. Mark Hughes enjoyed his first win as City manager when his side beat West Ham 3-0 at the beginning of season, but things have been far from smooth since. Hughes will be hoping Bellamy and his other transfer window signings will have settled in by now. Bolton face Newcastle in a relegation battle at the Reebok Stadium. Newcastle's 1-0 win against Bolton last August proved to be the final victory of Kevin Keegan's reign as manager. His resignation a fortnight later threw the club into turmoil and they have struggled for form in the six months since. The day's other game involves former colleagues at the KC Stadium as Phil Brown's Hull hosts Sam Allardyce's Blackburn. Brown was assistant to Allardyce at both Blackpool and Bolton, but friendship must be put aside while their teams battle for crucial points.
