Mark Lamarr presents the best music you never knew you loved from the last 70 years, alongside the finest live sessions. This is where garage meets soul, punk meets country, and 30s yodelling collides with 70s dub and 90s hip hop. The twang of indie rock guitars come from Maida Vale studios as British country rock band The Broken Family Band join Mark for a session. Four albums into their career and there have been many variations of the Broken Family Band. Over time they have gradually shed the accordionists, the girl singers, the banjo players and reduced themselves to the unchanged core of Steve Adams, bassist Gavin Johnson, guitarist Jay Williams and drummer Micky Roman. They are best known for their single Love Your Man, Love Your Woman which has become something of an anthem amongst their fans.
