Live studio session band is Men-Diamler. Also, as it's a Thursday, we've THE Roberto Hughes and His Parallel Universe, with a copy of a music magazine from yester year and a clutch of records. Men Diamler was recommended to Marc by Kenny Anderson AKA King Creosote and Fence Collective head honcho. Men Diamler is a singer/guitarist who has shared gigs with John Parrish, Josephine Foster, Mi and L'au, Marissa Nadler, Kelley Stolz, The Mitchell Brothers, A Hawk And A Hacksaw, Tony Allen, Rivulets amongst others. In 2004 he recorded his album The Heathen Sounds Of... in a variety of basements, bedrooms and living rooms. The material occupies multi-layered instrumental territory, with blocks of space rock, noise and chanting.
