Manchester Passion

Contemporary retelling of the Passion of Jesus Christ, with a new soundtrack using the music of the cream of Manchester bands, including Oasis, The Smiths and Joy Division. Recorded previously on the streets of Manchester, the event is presented by Keith Allen with Darren Morfitt as Jesus, ex-James frontman Tim Booth as Judas, Nicholas Bailey as St Peter, and former Primal Scream singer Denise Johnson as the Virgin Mary.
