Based on Ludwig Bemelmans's stories, this light-hearted children's drama tells the tale of a feisty orphan's attempts to save her school from closure. As a boarder at the Parisian ladies' school, the young girl's life looks set to change dramatically when the school is put up for sale. But Madeline, her noisy Spanish neighbour and her classroom pals battle against her sinister tutor and a devious Lord to save her precious home.
