Maddigan's Quest - Plague

Children's drama series set in a post-apocalyptic world. When Tane and Jewel fall ill with a deadly plague, everyone is scared, because there is no cure. The Silver Girl appears to Garland, spelling out a word NIDUS, but this seems to be no help.
