Sitcom about Rick Spleen, a disillusioned stand-up comedian and writer whose career has not gone to plan. Rick fronts a lame government TV recycling campaign which backfires spectacularly. When he and his partner Mel are invited to the christening of a remarkably ugly baby, he is sent off to buy a christening present from a dangerously unhinged shopkeeper.
