Lauren Laverne - Jamie Liddell Live In Session

Lauren is joined by Jamie Liddell for a live session in the 6Music studios. The soul/funk pioneer released his new album Compass back in May to much acclaim and immediately threw up 'new Prince' comparisons. Originally from Cambridgeshire, the now Manhatten based singer and producer recorded the album in New York and collaborator Beck's studios in California. Beck appears on the album alongside other guest musicians including Grizzly Bear's Chris Taylor and Canadian singer Feist. Plus comedian Danny Robins returns with his weekly Indie Travel Guide and Workers Playtime offers up half an hour of MPFrees and Headphone Moments.
