Late Junction - Verity Sharp

Verity Sharp's selections tonight include the masterful Hammond organ playing of Dr Lonnie Smith alongside the sparkling guitarwork of Guinea's Sekouba Bambino Diabate. Plus the talents of Hugh Lupton and Chris Wood combine in the tale of Johnny East, the Sixteen sing music by the 17th century Spanish composer Juan Gutiérrez de Padilla, and a movement from La Koro Sutro for 100 voices and gamelan by Lou Harrison.
