Verity Sharp's varied musical slection includes guitarist Les Paul playing a Twelfth Street Rag and Lingling Yu performing a traditional piece on the Chinese pipa. There's also a chance to hear the extraordinary glottal stuttering of singers recorded on the Pityusic Islands by Alan Lomax in the 1950s, and Ravel's Piece en forme de Habanera played on the theremin by Clara Rockmore.
