British comedy. A Northampton shoe factory is on the verge of closing down, unable to compete with cheap Third World imports. The reluctant and desperate owner is inspired by an outrageous drag queen to switch production to saucy footwear for transvestites - to the despair of his fiance and the shopfloor.
