Junior Apprentice - Episode 3

The remaining Junior candidates have reached the halfway mark as Lord Sugar sets them their third task. They must learn the art of adding value - icing and decorating their own themed brand of cupcakes and selling them to the public in one of the country's leading department stores. Cupcakes have become big business in the UK over the last few years and Lord Sugar wants to see if these young teens can get a slice of this booming market. The pressure is on for the teens as they must work out how many cupcake bases to order from their bakery, ice them with their own design and then sell, sell, sell. They know that they must deliver in both quality and quantity if they want to impress Lord Sugar and survive. The teams must also choose their own project manager - a challenge in itself as they all want to prove themselves and show that they have what it takes. As Nick and Karren look on, it becomes clear in the boardroom that one team hasn't risen to the challenge with their half-baked theme and bad maths. Once again, a candidate will hear Lord Sugar's final words: "You're Fired" as they're shown the door for good.
