Jeremy discusses the floods in Cumbria, the possibility of a hung parliament, Radio 2's Living with Dementia campaign and whether electric cars should have cowbells attached. All this week, as part of Radio 2's Living with Dementia campaign, Jeremy takes a closer look at dementia and what life is like for those people who have the illness, and for their loved ones. Jeremy is joined by Radio 2's GP, Dr Sarah Jarvis to discuss whether dementia is preventable. Dr Jarvis looks at what things may contribute to dementia, for example lifestyle and diet and debunks the myths. She also weighs up the pros and cons of taking a dementia test. There will be further sources of information and support for people affected by dementia at bbc.co.uk/radio2. People can share their experiences with others through a special messageboard, or post a question to our experts from the Alzheimer's Society. Support is also available through the Radio 2 helpline 0800 022 022. Calls are free from most landlines. Some networks and mobile operators will charge for these calls.
