Jazz on 3

Jez Nelson presents a chance to hear a Scandinavian jazz-metal gig from the Scorch Trio in concert at the London Jazz Festival 2002. Founded by Finnish composer and guitarist Raoul Bjorkenheim, the trio also features bassist Ingebrigt Haker Flaten and drummer Mark Sanders. The gig was a part of the Adventures In Sound series jointly curated by Jazz on 3 and the London Jazz Festival with the aim of providing a performance space for experimental combinations and unusual collaborations.
