This rare collaboration between three leading figures in improvised music is part of the 2009 Meltdown festival, curated by free jazz pioneer Ornette Coleman. Evan Parker and Han Bennink have been at the forefront of the European improvised music scene for more than 40 years, while Marc Ribot has worked in a wide range of musical contexts, collaborating with John Zorn, Tom Waits and Elvis Costello among others.
