Jez Nelson presents a studio session recorded exclusively for the programme by trombonist Gail Brand and drummer Mark Sanders - both key players on the jazz and improvised music scene in the UK and beyond. Completely improvised, the set showcases the duo's almost telepathic musical relationship and marks the launch of a new album and a new record label. Comedian Stewart Lee talks to Gail about his life in music, revealing how freely-improvised music has influenced his stand-up routines.
