Jazz Line-Up - Ramsey Lewis, Jerry Bergonzi

Jazz Line-Up this week features Julian Joseph in conversation with piano legend Ramsey Lewis who at 75, still has the will to make more albums. Since 'Wade in the Water', and 'The In Crowd' in the mid-sixties, Lewis has constantly produced albums and, as he mentioned to Julian Joseph, it does not stop here. His current CD "Songs From the Heart" is totally Ramsey Lewis product and who can tell from his playing that he means every note, a comment Joseph makes to him. And in the same programme, there's USA tenor supremeo Jerry Bergonzi in concert in a recording made last year at the Jazz Bar in Edinburgh. The jazz educator and writer once again works his magic with his sheer artistry and ideas.
