Julian Joseph is in conversation with drummer and composer Gary Husband, who has fronted his own bands since 1999, and discusses his recent decision to join pianist Yaron Herman in his trio. Both as pianist and drummer, Gary has performed and toured with a diverse range of artists including John McLaughlin, Jack Bruce, Level 42, Jeff Beck, Billy Cobham, Mike Stern, Gary Moore and Django Bates. His CD Hotwired (Abstract Logix) is the debut release with his group Drive, a contemporary jazz quartet featuring trumpeter Richard Turner, saxophonist Julian Siegel and bassist Michael Janisch.
