Jazz Line-Up - David Sanchez Quartet

Julian Joseph introduces saxophonist David Sanchez and his Quartet in concert during their 2008 tour as well as a preview of new CDs and gigs. Sanchez's line-up features Orlando de Flemming on bass, Henry Cole on drums and Lage Lund playing guitars. The Puerto Rican has been described as having the same sort of voracious musical mind as Wynton Marsalis - both care deeply about the classical and jazz traditions and have a sound musical knowledge - but Sanchez is distinctive for having an appreciation of Latino sounds.
