Jazz Line-Up - 28/06/2008

Julian Joseph presents an exclusive session from the BBC's Maida Vale studios, featuring Arnie Somogyi's Ambulance, a group who made their debut in 2005 at Ronnie Scott's jazz club. Comprised of young UK jazz musicians, used to improvising in similar styles, Ambulance perform with American trumpeter Eddie Henderson, with whom they have appeared on several previous occasions. The line-up features Arnie Somogyi on double bass, Eddie Henderson on trumpet, Rob Townsend on tenor and soprano saxophones, Tim Lapthorn on piano and electric piano and Dave Smith on dums.
