Julian Joseph presents the programme from the Armagh Jazz Weekend 2008. Including the BBC Big Band conducted by Barry Forgie, with special guest soloist Bruce Adams on trumpet, plus Enniskillen-born percussionist Anthony Kerr performing an original score by Barry Forgie. Bruce Adams comes from a showbiz family and was part of his father's stage act from an early age. For many years he co-led a critically successful and award-winning quintet with saxophonist Alan Barnes, and now either leads his own band or plays as a featured artist. His Recent recordings include Always and Forever with Dave Cliff and Good Bait, recorded at Ronnie Scott's.
