Claire Martin presents Acoustic Triangle in concert at Worcester Cathedral as part of the 2008 Three Choirs Festival. The acclaimed trio of Malcolm Creese (double bass), Tim Garland (bass clarinet, saxophones, flute) and Gwilym Simcock (piano, French horn) is joined by Sacconi Quartet members Ben Hancox and Hannah Dawson (violins), Robin Ashwell (viola) and Cara Berridge (cello), and violinists Charlotte Scott and Emma Parker. Acoustic Triangle is touring the UK's cathedrals and abbeys in a celebration of sound and inspiring architecture, and in 15 three-dimensional performances, musicians appear from all around - their sounds echoing, developing and surprising.
