Earlier this year, British troops completed their withdrawal from Basra and left Iraq after a controversial war that lasted six years. The Queen, other members of the Royal Family and senior government figures are joined in the congregation by relatives of the 179 service personnel who lost their lives at a service of remembrance in St Paul's Cathedral, to mark the end of the war and honour the sacrifice of the young men and women who died. The address is given by the Archbishop of Canterbury. Director of Music: Andrew Carwood. Commentator: Nicholas Witchell.
