Swindon campaigner Shirley Burnham asks if our local libraries have a future in the face of public spending cuts. Shirley fought a successful campaign to keep the Old Town library open but she's worried that other branches may be sacrificed as council budgets come under pressure. Plus... Professor Mark Horton reports on the restoration of the 'Heroine of Dunkirk' in Bristol Docks. The Medway Queen was the last estuary pleasure paddle steamer in the UK. During the evacuation from Dunkirk she rescued 7,000 men from the beaches of Normandy. Inside Out West brings one of the Dunkirk veterans to the dockyard to see how the work to restore her is progressing. Josie d'Arby enrols at a club in Wiltshire that teaches children as young as 11 how to drive. The Under-17s car club allows children to learn advanced driving skills in a range of different vehicles. The ultimate aim is to produce safer young drivers by the time they're old enough to take to the roads. Josie tests out her own driving skills by taking on a team of children in a challenging obstacle course.
