Inside Out North West - 11/04/2008
Jacey Normand speaks to Marie McCourt, whose daughter Helen was murdered 20 years ago - but her body was never found. Marie has spent the last two decades looking for her daughter, as well as devoting her life to helping other families whose lives have been wrecked by murder or manslaughter.
We also meet Paul O'Neill, brother of Spice Girl Mel C, who took up a motor racing career when Mel offered to fund his dream, working his way up to the British Touring Car Championship with the Vauxhall team. In early 2004, however, he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, which put a halt to his racing ambitions. Since then, he's learned to live with the disease and, back to full health, has this year embarked upon his first season of racing since the diagnosis.
