The past week has been dominated by the icy weather and snow that have swept across the region, with hundreds of schools closed and many people not getting back to work after the Christmas holidays. Inside Out reflects on an extraordinary week and how the weather changed the landscape in the east. David Whiteley meets the teams with metal detectors - and mechanical diggers - who are searching for the legendary sites which are said to contain treasure from our recent history. They're looking for American equipment buried on old airfields in Norfolk. A Cambridge woman who has been making violins for 50 years, gets a surprise visit from her favourite violinist superstar. Juliet Barker, a 70-year-old from Cambridge, has had a lifelong love affair with the violin. When she was twenty she decided she wanted to learn how to make the instrument. After her training, Juliet decided to devote her life to teaching others how to build violins at her workshop in Cambridge. Inside Out arranged a special surprise from one of the world's leading violinists, Tasmin Little, to visit her Cambridge workshop. During her visit Tasmin gave an exclusive performance, playing one of Juliet's own violins.
