The sale of personalised number plates is big business - in the last 20 years it's raised a staggering 1.25 billion pounds for the Treasury. But Inside Out has discovered some East Midlands councils have plates on their civic cars which have been valued at tens of thousands. As public services face big cuts Des Coleman sets out to see if he can persuade them it's time to sell off their personal plates. Also tonight - fighting back against cheap imports - can we protect our local craftsmen in a world of cut-price furniture?
