The links between Gujarat and the people of Leicester are so strong that when the earthquake hit in January 2001, within weeks people had donated hundreds of thousands of pounds to help. So where did the money go? Bharat Patel who reported on the original story goes back to Gujarat and finds good news and bad. Some money has made a huge difference, other funds can't be accounted for. Also, in July 1975 the East Midlands got its first commercial radio station, Radio Trent. This month that name disappeared and Capital East Midlands was launched in its place. Marie Ashby looks back at the early days of Trent talking to presenters such as Kid Jensen about the impact the new station had 35 years ago, and investigating what's changed in the world of local radio.
