Petroc Trelawny presents a selection of music and guests from the arts world. Artistic director Kevin McKenzie joins Petroc in the studio to talk about American Ballet Theatre's Swan Lake, which opens at the London Coliseum. Founded in 1940, American Ballet Theatre is recognised as one of the great dance companies in the world. It performs for more than 600,000 people annually and has toured in over 40 countries. Folk singer and guitarist Kate Rusby performs in the studio with guitarist Damian O'Kane and bassist Andy Seward. Kate also talks to Petroc about two of her forthcoming performances, as part of the Gala Night of Folk in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust, taking place at Wigmore Hall in London. 17:02 SCARLATTI Sonata in D, Kk.164 Fou Ts’ong (piano) COLLINS 30162 Track 2 2’53 17:05 KATE RUSBY Awkward Annie Kate Rusby (vocals/guitar) Ian Carr (guitar) John McCusker (cittern) Andy Cutting (accordion) Leon Hunt (banjo) PURE RECORDS PRCD23 Track 1 3’09 17:10 BERNSTEIN Fancy Free: Enter three Sailors American Ballet Theatre Orchestra Leonard Bernstein (conductor) PEARL GEMS 0005 CD 2 Track 2 2’50 17:20 ADAM Le Corsaire (Act 1: Corsairs’ bacchanal) English Chamber Orchestra Richard Bonynge (conductor) DECCA Track 10 4’00 17:32’10 TCHAIKOVSKY Swan Lake (finale) London Symphony Orchestra Michael Tilson Thomas (conductor) SONY S2K 46592 CD 2 Track 25 6’26* 17:38 LECUONA La conga de media noche Kathryn Stott (piano) CHANDOS CHAN10493 Track 15 3’04 17:43 BACH Herr Gott, dich loben Wir, BWV.16 Robin Blaze (counter-tenor) Gerd Turk (tenor) Peter Kooij (bass) Bach Collegium Japan Masaaki Suzuki (director) BIS SACD 1711 Track 19-24 15’51* 18:03 BACH (Arr.
