Documentary series focusing on hospital stories in University Hospital, Cardiff. Myra Priday from Knighton in Powys has breast cancer - she is going to have a mastectomy operation. The problem concerning her medical team is if the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes. Nicola Pullin has diabetes and high blood pressure so the hospital team are determined to help her give up smoking. Nicola Rainbow is a well woman but wants to undergo radical surgery in the hope of preventing ovarian cancer.
