A week in the life of the staff who make the University Hospital of Wales tick. Consultant paediatric surgeon Mr Simon Huddart operates on a young girl with a cancer of the kidney, while on Ward C6 the team care for a patient who has developed an infection. Downstairs, housekeeper Richard Harwood keeps the major public areas of the Hospital clean, but the ladies loos are a real challenge, and a problem occurs when there is a blood spillage on the concourse. And in A&E, junior Dr Aktar performs a procedure he has never done before, but is it successful?
