Faye secretly has the CVS test to discover the sex of her baby. She fears the results - if it's a boy there's a 50% chance he'll have Lowe's syndrome. Joseph wants to be a part of his baby's life no matter what. Linden is furious he's being excluded from these decisions. Tension in theatre between the two men forces Faye to put her foot down at last. Penny angrily rebuffs Oliver's attempts to make peace and the two become involved in a game of 'pass the patient' which doesn't please either of their Consultants.
