Discovering Dutilleux Festival Presented by Catherine Bott. The second of two concerts given last month at St David's Hall, Cardiff, in celebration of the music of Henri Dutilleux, who is still composing at age 92. The programme includes Dutilleux' song-cycle Mystere de l'instant, commissioned by his Swiss patron Paul Sacher. It pays homage in its orchestration to Bartok's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta, also in the programme, and the festival concludes with Dutilleux's Symphony No 2.
