Orhan Pamuk, Nobel Laureate in Literature 2006

Orhan Pamuk is widely acclaimed as one of the world's great living novelists. He was the 2006 winner of the Nobel prize for literature and his books are translated and read across the world. However, in his home country of Turkey, he remains a polarising figure. A source of pride to some, a national disgrace to others. His eighth novel has been five years in the writing and is a story about love not politics. HARDtalk asks if, despite this, it carries a message about Turkey's shifting identity. Orhan Pamuk talks to Stephen Sackur.
