Earlier this year a committee of MPs described the care system as 'catastrophic' for children's prospects. Just last month, a high profile campaign was launched to help recruit 5,000 social workers to a profession whose image is at an all time low. The DJ, musician and actor Goldie grew up in the care system and has talked of the importance of social workers in his early life. Can coming from a disadvantaged background trigger a creative future?
