For all their superior firepower, western troops and Afghan forces have failed to quell the Taliban insurgency in Afghanistan. British Army officer Doug Beattie won a military cross for his role in a dramatic assault on Taliban fighters in Helmand province, and two years on he's preparing to leave the forces. Stephen Sackur asks him if British soldiers are fighting a war they can never win.
