Russia currently has a severe image problem in the west. Not just because of the sight of Russian tanks rolling into Georgia; also because high profile western companies have complained of intimidation and worse in the course of their business dealings inside Russia. Bill Browder was one of the most successful western investors in Moscow. Now the Russian authorities have labelled him a fugitive. Is business one more arena where Russia and the West are heading for confrontation?
