Handel's Water Music

A recreation of the spectacular premiere of Handel's Water Music when, in 1717, King George I sailed down the River Thames accompanied by a band of musicians. In a mix of documentary and performance, musicians, designers, historians and river experts converge to struggle with wigs, boats and tides and portray the sensational political story behind one of London's most memorable concerts.
