Golf: Ryder Cup - 2010 - Day One

Hazel Irvine presents highlights of the opening day of the 38th Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor. A run of three successive European victories ended at the Valhalla Golf Club in 2008, when the USA team recorded a resounding win. European captain Colin Montgomerie will be determined to reclaim the cup in South Wales - they have not lost on home soil since 1993. Such is the depth of talent on the European Tour right now, Montgomerie had a difficult time making his three picks, eventually opting for Padraig Harrington, Luke Donald and Edoardo Molinari. Those three are joined by other star names such as Lee Westwood, Rory McIlroy and Ian Poulter.
