Glastonbury - 2010 - Gorillaz - Live at Manchester Opera House

A taster of tonight's headline set with this archive performance from the Manchester Opera House in November 2005. The gig was recorded as part of the Gorillaz 5 night residency at the Manchester Opera House on 4th November 2005 - the band had recently released Demon Days and had a number one with Dare. Sean Ryder performed on this night. Its the first time we'd see Gorillaz in the flesh as it were, as on previous occasions the band had been hidden away behind a screen. Although the much rumoured 3-D cartoon holograms of the band failed to materialise, there were life size puppets of 2D and Murdoc in the royal box performing a comic dialogue before the show began.
