Gilles Peterson drops a Men With Soul mix tonight on the show, in dedication to the late Teddy Pendergrass. Expect a unique left of centre soul selection including tracks from The Independents, Bobby Womack & John Byrd. We drop a track from Matthew Halsall’s recent Maida Vale session which features some words from Hyperdub’s Roger Robinson (of King Midas Sound). Also watch out for some big new cuts from Stalley and Zara McFarlane & Motuki.
