From the wild parties of the 1970s to the more sedate family get togethers of the 1950s, Ghosts of Christmas Past also features extraordinary tales including the historical 1977 Christmas Day party help by the Sex Pistols for children of striking firemen and a recently discovered 1945 Christmas message from a serviceman abroad to his family waiting at home in Glossop.
