Get Squiggling - Series 2 - Old King Cole

Squiglet is a monster who lives in a plain white world which he populates using a magic crayon. Squiglet uses a zig zag line to squiggle Old King Cole who wants to play his pipe with his fiddlers three accompanying him on their violins. But he can't seem to get a note out of his pipe and he wants to play for the Queen's birthday! Squiglet squiggles Old King Cole's throne, where he left his pipe, but when they get there, it's true, no matter how hard Old King Cole blows, no sound at all comes out of his pipe. What's more, his fiddlers three have gone missing too. Squiglet wonders if Old King Cole just needs a bit more strength - maybe if he eats something, it'll help. So he squiggles him a nice boiled egg! But even after Old King Cole has wolfed it down, still he can't get a note out of his pipe. And there's still no sign of his fiddlers three! He and Squiglet head off to the royal gym so the King can do his exercises - maybe that'll give him the strength to play. But even after some stretches and star jumps, it's no good. The King wishes he had an instrument he didn't need to blow, then he could still play for the Queen's birthday. A look at the Squiggle Pad gives them a suggestion - what about a concertina! Squiglet squiggles one and the King loves it. And when he plays a tune, who should come dancing out of the end his pipe, but his fiddlers three! They're mice and they'd fallen asleep inside it! No wonder Old King Cole couldn't get a note out of his pipe. Now they can all play a lovely tune and the Queen even joins in on the concertina!
