Get Squiggling - Series 2 - Magpie

Squiglet is a monster who lives in a plain white world, which he populates using a magic crayon. Squiglet uses today's zig zag line to squiggle a magpie called Molly who loves shiny things. Her eggs are about to hatch and she wants something to make her nest extra shiny for when her chicks arrive. She normally finds her most shiny things in a village in the mountains, but she can't remember exactly where it is. Squiglet helps by squiggling it for her, and off they go. The mountains sparkle - it's the snow on top shining in the sun, but a mountain's too big to put in Molly's nest! Then she spots an icicle shining on a house - but that will just melt and make her nest all soggy! Everything in the village is only shiny because it's so icy. Molly needs to look further afield. Squiglet helps by squiggling her some binoculars and Molly soon spots something silver and shining and just the right size for her nest! When they get to it, they see that it's a silver pocket watch and she and Squiglet hurry back to her nest to put it there. And just in time, as soon as they arrive, the chicks hatch! But they're so excited by the ticking of the watch that Molly worries they'll never settle down! Just then, Reggie the rabbit arrives - it's his watch and he dropped it in the woods. He's ever so pleased that Molly has found it and she's pleased he's going to take it - no more ticking! But now what can she have to make the nest shiny? A look at the Squiggle Pad gives them the answer some shiny silver bunting! Soon Squiglet has squiggled some and Molly's nest looks very shiny indeed. The chicks love it, it's the prettiest nest anyone has ever seen.
