The team are at the 24th annual Spring Gardening Show held at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern, Worcestershire. Toby Buckland presents the highlights as well as bringing the BBC's Dig In campaign to the visitors by offering them the chance to do a spot of 'seed dating' - a unique opportunity to talk and gain expert advice about aspects of vegetable growing with the Gardeners' World team. Joe Swift is out and about in the stunning show gardens helping a couple who seek inspiration for their own garden, as well as guiding through the top designs. Carol Klein is in her spiritual home, the floral marquee, meeting some of the exhibitors and with her gardening students on the look-out for this season's hottest plant combinations. Alys hits the horticultural catwalk, meeting fashion students who take inspiration from famous gardens around the UK and have set about designing flower show outfits for the Gardeners' World team. There's a look at a first-time show garden designer as she competes in the Chris Beardshaw mentorship competition, in a bid to win a year of Chris' time and knowledge on how to become a successful garden designer, as well as the opportunity to build a show garden for Chelsea in 2010. And for the first time at Malvern we will be getting up close and personal with poultry, and finding out why keeping chickens is fast becoming the nation's favourite hobby.
