Further Education - Skills for Life in Context: Construction and Engineering/Social Care/Health and Beauty

Following young and some not so young workers through their day on the job reveals the literacy, numeracy and ICT skills they just cannot get by without. From working in a care home to fitting gas central heating, from personal trainer to site safety engineer, life skills are as important as technical skills. These eight programmes are designed to help 16–19 year old students on vocational courses with literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
