Qualifying has so often proved a decisive factor at this circuit, with the driver on pole position going on to win the race for each of the past nine years. It was eventual world champion Jenson Button who snatched a last-gasp pole position last season ahead of Sebastian Vettel, and both drivers have already won races in 2010.
