Football Focus - 08/08/2009

The first show of the new series focuses on the Championship as the 2009/10 Football League season kicks off. It promises to be an absorbing and exciting division with a host of big clubs doing battle to return to the top flight. In the pick of the day's games, Newcastle face a tricky start to life in the second tier with a visit to West Brom, who were also relegated from the Premier League last season. There will also be a lot of interest in the fortunes of the newly promoted clubs, including Peterborough, who have earned two successive promotions under manager Darren Ferguson.
