Fearne Cotton - Monday - 30 Seconds To Mars in the Live Lounge

The winners of BBC Radio 1’s Ultimate Live Lounge Cover, 30 Seconds to Mars were in the Live Lounge with Fearne Cotton this morning. They performed their single ‘This Is War’ and Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’. Watch their performance online and see how Jared reacts when presented with a clay statue of him made by Fearne. It’s not an identical likeness – it had a wilting arm, a shrunken leg and a paper clip poking out of his hip. They were awarded this prestigious trophy for their 2007 cover of 'Stronger' by Kanye West. Jared told Fearne the band are thinking about moving to the UK. They love hanging out in Covent Garden when in London and would love to live here all the time. 30STM have recently finished a huge UK tour where Jared ran into the crowds and took requests on his guitar while sitting up in the balcony.
