This means Melton Mowbray pork pies, Cumberland sausages and Stilton cheese among others can only be made to certain specifications - both culinary and geographical. Charlotte Smith meets some of the farmers and producers who've fought hard to gain this status, and asks Secretary of State, Hilary Benn, why it matters so much.
